Abstrakt EN:

The paper presents changes relating to the localization and functioning of leading home companies according to the seats of their boards in the years 2003-2004. The changes within the branch structure of the companies were shown on the basis of the kind of activity undertaken by them. An analysis of the changes in the scope of the ownership structure was also made, as well as the changes in distribution of the examined companies were presented within the spatial system of the country, including the situation in individual provinces and in the main cities of Poland. The research, which was carried out, was founded on relevant data relating to the number of companies, revenues from sales and also their dynamics. (original abstract)
