In this article, the author provides a general overview of the problem of rural unemployment. She describes its genesis, causes, dimensions and structure. The problem of unemployment in rural areas is more Complex Ulan in llic city. Available data do not provide details on the size of hidden unemployment in individual households. Moreover, reducing rural unemployment is a more difficult task. This is because there are fewer jobs on local markets, the unemployed in rural areas are characterised by low education levels, and unemployment tends to be concentrated in certain regions (areas where former state collective farms were located, etc).
