Abstrakt EN:

The aim of the article is an analysis of the development of daily industry in the Cracow Municipal Province in the years 1970-1980, The analysis deals with the problems of milk purchase and its seasonal character, and the production of some more important dairy production the years 1970-1980. The analysis of milk purchase has been based on a statistical method of 12 months' shifting average, whereas the analysis of production of the selected dairy products has been conducted on the basis of the trend extrapolation method. As results from the conducted analysis, the Cracow Municipal Province is in the possession of a good base of global and commodity production of milk, although it is not large enough for the satisfaction of needs of the Cracovian agglomeration. The main lines of the activity of the Provincial Co-operative Creamery should be: further intensification of milk production and purchase, full cover of the increasing needs of the population of cities and the countryside for dairy products.
