Abstrakt EN:

The paper deals with the status of ownership transformation in Poland's economy over the years 1990-1995. The paper shows that the transformation and its speed has been varied over the years in question. Capital-led privatisation, which has played a leading role in the countries of the European Union, has in Poland been registering the slowest pace and should be intensified. Poland's share of capital-led privatisation over the last six years or so has amounted to no more than 1,5 procent of the annual value of the world's capital markets. One positive aspect of the transformation is the launching of the mass-privatisation programme within the bounds of National Investment Funds, a process commenced on November 22, 1995.(original abstract)
