Abstrakt EN:
Performance management is an integrated approach to management of results the effect of which is the delivery of ever-improving value to the customers and stakeholders, in accordance with the principles of sustainability, improvement of overall organisational effectiveness and efficiency, organisational and personal learning. The main goal of this paper is show how performance management provides tools allowing to create values for all stakeholders of an enterprise and developing its intellectual capital. Performance management in the perspective of the top management most often consists in comparing the expected business results with the previously adopted plans in this respect. It requires determination of the criteria of success and setting the measures, so that the application of the presented process would bring benefits to an organisation, therefore it must focus on the most important problems of the organisation.
