Abstrakt EN:

The aim of the project has been to divide Poland into regions grouping together particular purchasing centers as well as the agricultural and food processing Industrial enterprises. The division has been made by means of the taxonomic method of mean differences within the boundaries of the individual Polish provinces. During the delimitation of the first type it was those factors which render the delimitation of the raw materials for agriculture and food Industry feasible which were assumed to be the criteria of the division. Consequently, four regions likely to be subject to intensification of the agricultural products purchases have been noticed. In the delimitation of the second type the topological features, characteristic for the agricultural and food industry have been assumed as the criteria of the division. As the result the districts of the food processing industry have been delimited. The comparative analysis of the two types of delimitation has shown that the regions of the agricultural products purchasing centers are not identical with the regions of the food processing industry; it has also reflected the disproportions existing between the two types of regions.
