Abstrakt EN:

The study aimed at the analysis of curative and sanatorium services in Krynica Health Resort in the years 1971-1978. The analysis covered both in-patient and out-patient medical care. The analysis pointed to the growing trend of the number of visitors availing themselves of services with the division into basic groups. The scale od services rendered by out-patient medical care is great and the number of services shows a growing trend. In-patient medical, care is based on hospital and sanatorium beds. In the years 1971-1978 the situation in sanatorium medical care was difficult, the number of beds did not increase but the number of visitors grew. Besides, in his study the author calculated a year's mean expenses of the treatment in in-patient and out-patient medical care. (original abstract)
