Abstrakt EN:
The meat sector was one of the fastest growing areas of the Polish economy. The economic condition of the meat industry companies is linked to the quality of management, increasing competition and access to raw materials and determinants of international trade. The meat sector in Poland operates under conditions of high volatility, which for some companies is a big threat, and for others an opportunity for rapid growth, industry consolidation and achieve cost synergies. There are on the market many specialized and modem enterprises which functioning great, that involves global industry leaders. The remaining part of the industry is very fragmented, and its competitive position is difficult. Industry needs innovation of management, less in terms of operating and production, and much more in the areas of sales, opening new markets, the use of new distribution channels, development of producer groups. You have to look for new market space, new ideas that will help to break away from traditional models to compete. The concept of blue oceans (blue ocean strategy) might be a good example of how to change your way of thinking about, how to move away from the competitive struggle to non-confrontational management approaches.
