Abstrakt EN:

In this paper are being discussed: the extent and rate of investments, their Cracow region that took place in the past twenties was possible due to high investment expenditures, achieved production and faciiity results of greater importance, as well as realized social actions within the region. A brief record is also given of the r activity of enterprises ordered with the execution of these investments - especially consisting in building and mounting works. The rapid economic evolution of the Cracow region that took place in the past twenties was possible due to high investment funds in the socialized economy. For the great tempo of investments within the region speaks its share in the total expenditures of the country in the years 1950-1966, amounting up to over 10%. The investment expenditures in the socialized economy in the years 1950-1963 per inhabitant expanded, as concerns their amounts, considerably over and above the mean level of the country. The main direction of the investment expenditures in the years 1950-1965, within the socialized economy, tended to industrial expenditures - that comprised over 57% of the general investment expenditures in the region. As a result of great investment expenditures many factual effects that essentially improved the living standard of the population have been achieved. The speeded up industrialisation in the past twenties exerted a fundamental influence on the changing process of the social-economic structure. The region became an industrial-agricultural one. The development of the voivodeship was not uniform, which is shown in those parts of the paper in which the characteristic of the investment proceedings of the Cracow region has been given in its area cross-section. The period of the last twenties is marked by a systematical development of the quantity and value of social deeds realized by help of own means possessed by the population. The social deeds in the Cracow voivodeship have their developed and largely acknowledged tradition. Large space - specially in the part concerning the conclusions - has been devoted to the problem of criteria and standards governing the distribution of investment expenditures in their regional cross-section as well as that relative to the lines of business. The great tempo of investments within the Cracow region will further on be maintained and during the next coming years that region will become one of the largest building sites in Poland because of the quantity of minerał resources, the hitherto maintained tempo of the investments, and because of the existing considerable surplus of man power.
