Abstrakt EN:
This chapter explores the innovative dynamics of social enterprises within a post-Schumpeterian context. It highlights how these enterprises combine market mechanisms with social goals, resulting in unique innovation paths. Unlike traditional market-driven firms, social enterprises prioritize social impact, which leads to distinct innovation strategies and challenges. The post-Schumpeterian perspective emphasizes the divergence from conventional economic models. It focuses on the role of social enterprises in driving societal change through innovative approaches that extend beyond mere market competitiveness. This chapter paper also sheds light on the incentives and resistance encountered in the context of social enterprise innovation. This chapter illustrates how social enterprises are motivated by a dual mission of social impact and market viability, creating unique incentives for innovative solutions. However, they often encounter resistance that limits their ability to grow. This tension between incentive and resistance highlights challenges and opportunities for innovation in social enterprises.
